Pan London ePAD
Following the successful introduction of the Pan London Practice Assessment Document (PAD), the Pan London Practice Learning Group (PLPLG) have been moving forward with a project to move this from paper to an online solution. In early 2020, after a formal procurement exercise, we were delighted to announce MyKnowledgeMap.com as our framework supplier. The ePAD can be used via an app available for smart phones and tablets, as well as online from any laptop or PC with internet access. The app has offline capability so it can be used even if students are in an area with no wi-fi or data connectivity.
The PLPLG are grateful to HEE (London) for the funding that enabled the appointment of a Project Manager to work alongside us as this has been invaluable in getting us to this stage of implementation.
Students from the University of Roehampton are first to use the ePAD, with their year 2 nursing students in early September. Students from King’s College London, City University of London, and Middlesex University will begin to use the ePAD throughout October and November and from early 2021 students from the University of Greenwich. Other Pan London universities will begin to use the ePAD in the 2021-2022 academic year.
Resources to support the implementation of the ePAD can be found below, and further resources will be added as they become available.
CapitalNurse is in full support of the development and implementation of this ePAD for London’s Future Nurses.
