Neurodivergent students and staff in healthcare education and practice face unique challenges that require tailored support and understanding. Two new e-learning modules are targeted towards staff who are assessing students or staff undertaking learning and assessment in practice, across a range of professional roles within the healthcare setting. The resources have been developed by neurodivergent students and staff as part of the RePAIR programme to provide examples of learning across the multi-professional fields (nursing, midwifery and AHP).
Assessment of learning (or progress) may occur during a pre-registration training programme, preceptorship, or a course being undertaken as a part of continuing professional development. These e-learning modules are therefore valuable resources for all practice learning situations. From May 2025, the refreshed development plans for staff preparing for practice supervisor or practice supervisor roles now incorporate these new modules, which you can find on the Learner Resources page.
